What is an adhesive bra?
Two cups that stick directly to the skin with a reusable silicone adhesive, with no band and no straps. Some clip at the centre to create cleavage.
There are also nipple covers or petals — smaller adhesive discs that give coverage only, with no shaping at all. Both solve the same problem: an outfit where there is nowhere for a bra to hide.
How much support do they actually give?
Little, and that's structural rather than a quality issue. Worth understanding before you buy.
In a normal bra, the band does most of the supporting by anchoring around your ribcage. An adhesive bra has no band — the only thing holding it is skin adhesion, and skin can only take so much weight before the cup peels. So the more lift you ask of it, the more likely it is to come away.

How do you make an adhesive bra stay on?
- Clean, completely dry skin. Adhesive fails on damp skin
- No lotion, oil or powder anywhere near the area — this is the most common reason they fall off
- Press firmly from the centre outwards so there are no air pockets at the edge
- Test it at home first, for at least an hour, before wearing one to an event
Do they work in Karachi's heat?
Less well, honestly. This is the local caveat that most guides skip.
Adhesive and sweat are poor partners. In a warm hall or an outdoor function in summer, expect reduced hold. If your event is long, hot or involves dancing, plan for the possibility that it won't last the evening — and if there's any way the outfit can take a convertible bra instead, take it.
Can you reuse them?
Yes, usually ten to thirty wears if you wash the adhesive gently. Rinse with mild soap and cool water, air dry face up, and store with the protective film back on.
Don't rub the adhesive surface dry with a towel — lint ruins the stickiness faster than anything else.
